Faculty Fellowships

2025-2026 |AI & Pedagogy Fellowship

The inaugural AI & Pedagogy Faculty Fellows program establishes a cohort of faculty and full-time teaching staff interested in implementing an AI pedagogical innovation within their teaching & learning spaces, while supporting the development of institutional initiatives that promote the understanding and ethical use of AI for faculty and students.

During this 8-month program, a total of 15 Fellows will participate in workshops, collaborative work sessions, and small-group exchanges throughout the Spring and Summer of 2026. Fellows will receive a $1500 summer stipend, distributed between July and September 2026, to support additional professional learning around AI or enhance AI pedagogical resources. Program Outcomes

Identify TSU faculty leaders for AI-inclusive practices in pedagogy.
Establish an AI & Pedagogy Community of Practice
Build institutional pathway models of AI knowledge and ethical use for faculty and students.
Identify strengths and opportunities for future TLEC Fellowship programs.

Fellow Outcomes

Develop AI literacy, fluency, and agility through professional learning activities.
Assess AI credentialing models for TSU adoption (faculty & students).
Develop & implement an AI-inclusive pedagogical activity in one Spring 2026 course (may extend current work).
Contribute resources to the TSU AI & Pedagogy Repository
Showcase project results and resources at institutional events or professional conferences
